Wash & Wax

Car wax is made up of a variety of materials that are often referred to as"malleable solids" – a fancy of way of saying a substance that can change form from a solid to a liquid at ambient or slightly elevated temperatures.  It is applied, the excess removed and your paint is left with a protective, sacrificial layer against whatever the environment throws at it.  Carnauba and paraffin waxes are the most common, but there are synthetic versions too.

Here at Gloss Auto Wash we will apply an Americana Paste Wax to your entire car to give it a fast and affordable protection against the ever-changing Boulder climate and the adventures you take.
